ORIS HealthcareIntelligent health infrastructure
Platform Overview

One platform. Every layer of the care continuum.

ORIS is not a point solution. It is the infrastructure underneath: ingesting clinical and claims data, routing workflows between teams, and surfacing analytics at the right moment for the right role.

Module 01

Data Aggregation and Normalization

Clinical data lives in too many places. Epic, Cerner, Meditech, lab systems, imaging archives, remote monitoring devices. ORIS pulls all of it into a single normalized patient record without requiring you to rip and replace existing systems.

Every incoming record is validated against FHIR R4 schemas, de-duplicated, and enriched with standardized terminology (SNOMED, LOINC, RxNorm). What your teams query is always current and always consistent.

  • HL7 FHIR R4 ingestion with real-time and batch modes
  • Pre-built connectors for Epic, Cerner, Meditech, and 40+ lab and imaging vendors
  • Patient matching at 99.4% precision using probabilistic and deterministic rules
  • Data lineage tracking for every record, audit-ready by default

Care Coordination and Workflow Automation

Referrals fall through the cracks. Prior auths pile up on fax machines. Care plans never reach the patient's primary care provider. ORIS replaces these manual handoffs with configurable, auditable workflows that run on the data you already have.

Rules are built in plain language by your clinical operations team, not by your IT department. When a patient is discharged, the follow-up task, the PCP notification, and the care plan update fire automatically.

  • No-code workflow builder with clinical decision logic
  • Bidirectional payer communication with real-time prior auth status
  • Automated referral routing with provider directory matching
  • Transition of care alerts sent within 24 hours of discharge

Population Health Analytics

Risk stratification, care gap identification, and quality measure reporting on the same dataset your care teams use. No separate data warehouse, no weekly data extracts, no waiting on IT.

Dashboards are role-specific by default. Your CMO sees quality measure trending. Your CFO sees contract performance and utilization. Your care managers see their panel, risk-ranked and ready to work.

  • Risk stratification using HCC, ACG, and custom clinical rules
  • HEDIS, UDS, and custom quality measure tracking out of the box
  • Cohort builder for ad hoc population queries without SQL
  • Embedded BI with drill-down to the individual patient record

Security, Compliance, and Governance

HIPAA compliance is not a checkbox on the ORIS platform. It is the architecture. Every data element is classified at ingestion, access is controlled at the attribute level, and every query, view, and export is logged immutably.

We sign BAAs on Day 1. Our AWS infrastructure runs in HIPAA-eligible regions with encryption at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). We publish our SOC 2 Type II report annually.

  • HIPAA-eligible AWS infrastructure with BAA executed at contract signing
  • AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, envelope key management via AWS KMS
  • Role-based access control with attribute-level data masking
  • Immutable audit log queryable by patient, user, data element, or time range
  • Annual SOC 2 Type II and penetration testing by third-party firm

What compliance looks like in practice

Every framework we support, mapped to what it means for your organization.

Framework Scope ORIS Coverage Status
HIPAA Technical and administrative safeguards for PHI Encryption, access controls, audit logs, BAA, workforce training program ✓ Active
SOC 2 Type II Security, availability, and confidentiality controls Annual third-party audit, controls mapped to NIST 800-53 ✓ Active
HL7 FHIR R4 Clinical data interoperability standard Certified FHIR server, open API endpoints, certified EHR connectivity ✓ Certified
21st Century Cures Information blocking and open API requirements Patient access API, no information blocking policies, certified endpoints ✓ Compliant
NIST 800-53 Federal security control framework Controls mapped and documented, annual gap analysis ✓ Mapped
