Common questions
Before you reach out, a few answers.
How long does a typical deployment take?
Most organizations are in production in four to eight weeks. The timeline depends on the number of data sources and the complexity of workflow rules. We have done same-day data connections for urgent projects.
Do we need to replace our existing EHR?
No. ORIS is the infrastructure layer underneath your existing systems. Epic stays. Cerner stays. We connect to them through certified FHIR APIs and HL7 feeds. Nothing in your clinical environment changes.
Is ORIS compliant with HIPAA?
Yes. ORIS runs on HIPAA-eligible AWS infrastructure, signs BAAs at contract execution, and maintains SOC 2 Type II certification. We publish our security overview to any organization in evaluation.
What size organization is ORIS built for?
We work with regional hospitals, large IDNs, regional payer organizations, and digital health companies. The platform scales from a 200-bed community hospital to a national health plan. Pricing is structured to match organization size.
Can we start with just one module?
Yes. Each module deploys independently. Most organizations start with data aggregation, then add care coordination or analytics as they see value. You are never required to deploy the full platform on day one.
